Here’s ‘PRE-DAYTONA’ 6238 14k with black lacker dial. It is an extremely rare model especially with glossy dial. What we might have seen before is 6238 with a black matte dial in gold like the one sold for CHF 317K at Phillips auction in 2015.
The one I was reaching out today was surely one of the best I’ve seen. Looks like untouched for a long time as u can see oxidation on the right side of the case. when I louped it, I felt like I’m touching real history of this watch. In addition to its rarity, It still remains in incredible condition that also surprised me. I’m very proud of myself to see it in person.
